Journey to Lourdes
Itinerary!
5 nights 6 days!...
.The following itinerary is set up to guide you towards a very meaningful and spiritually rewarding pilgrimage!...
"Come and drink at the spring and wash yourself there."

(This is the itinerary we will be following - but feel free to come and go wherever you feel drawn!)
Lourdes Itinerary!
Monday
*Arrive and revive! Enjoy the scenic ride from the airport or train station
to Lourdes! You may start to experience a serenity that envelopes you as soon as you
enter this holy little town! …and perhaps pinch yourself that you have just arrived
in one of the most sacred places in the world! (again!)
After you check into the Hotel La Solitude,
walk around the town a little! We are in a quaint area
right on the River Gave
4:00pm Meet and Greet in our private meeting room!
We'll all come together to get to know our other group members!
Makes sure you bring one awesome fact about yourself to share with everyone
else in the group as you go around and meet everyone!
We'll have hot beverages, snacks and also review our schedule for the week!
5:30pm We're off to the Grotto and Holy water taps! The Massabielle Grotto
is where the apparitions took place and is just below the Basilica here right
next to the River Gave!
7:00pm Dinner! They start late in Europe! Yikes! Lol! We'll all head
to the dining room, where we will be enjoying our delicious
French cuisine dinner!
8:30pm We’ll all head over to the Basilica with our torchlights
for our first evening procession!
Tuesday
*7:30am
Group Breakfast buffet!
*8:30-8:45am Karin will lead you on a tour through Rosary Square,
and the beautiful Basilicas!
We'll go to the special area in the Basilica where
the shakti/healing power is the strongest!
...and then you'll be led on a beautiful short trail
behind the Basilica that leads down to the candle area and baths!
We'll also show you practical places like where
the info center and restrooms are!
*9:30-10:00ish
Then, we'll all head out to join the line for the healing baths!
After you experience your first holy bath, head back over to
the sitting area where Karin will be waiting for everyone!
She will share with you the impact the baths have
had on you energetically! …and you can rest a bit as you
assimilate the power of the baths!
11:00-12:00ish
Depending on how long the lines for the Baths are...
Free time for exploring the village!
Enjoy the boutiques, souvenir shops, spend time at the grotto to assimilate all the healing energy you have just received,
walk along the River Gave, light a candle, just time on your own to enjoy the town!...or head back to the hotel for some rest go
wherever you feel called…
* 1:15 We'll all meet at the train stop to catch the little tourist
train which will give us a tour of this quaint town!..
Then we'll be hopping off at the Pic du Jer stop and taking the
8 minute funicular ride up to the top!
They have a small restaurant on top with great views!
We can all have lunch there!
4:15ish
We'll all meet at the funicular station to head back down into town!
*5:30- 6:15ish
We'll all gather in our meeting room and Karin will use
her heightened perception to assist you
in empowering and deepening your connection with your
wise voice within and a higher power!
You've been drinking the Lourdes water and assimilating
the Holy Sparks for most of the day now!
You may start to feel yourself being pulled inside/or start to get giggly for
absolutely no reason whatsoever! lol! ... and feel this
light embracing you in a cocoon!
We'll have warm beverages and snacks available!
*7:00
Group Delicious French cuisine dinner!
*8:30
We’ll all walk over together for the 9:00 evening torch light procession
Once on top you can take a short hike up to the very top and take in the spectacular views!
You might want to bring along something warm to put on in case it's a little cooler up there!
This little train was build around the 1900's to accomodate all the tourists coming to Lourdes! The panoramic views on top are stunning!
Wednesday
7:30am Breakfast gathering!
*8:30-11:00am ish Morning baths
*11:00-2:00 Free time! Enjoy one of the great restaurants that Lourdes has to offer!.. and then stroll around the village!, etc…
*2:00
We’ll be taking a van to the quaint little town of Bartres,
which is about 4 km (about 2 and a half miles) up the road...
We'll be going on a 10 minute hike up a rocky trail to visit
the sheepfold, where Bernadette tended the sheep
and then walking along the same path that Bernadette would take to
return back to her home in Lourdes from Bartres!...
If you'd rather not take the scenic
walk back, which is about 4km/under 2 miles and mostly all downhill
we can always send you back to our hotel in Lourdes by taxi -
for anyone who is not up for it.
5:00- 5:45pm
We'll all gather in our meeting room once again! ...and continue to
practice deepening our connection and trust with
Mother Mary/a sacred higher power and sharing our
experiences of the day!...
Hot beverages and snacks will be available!
It's your second full day in Lourdes now!
You may experience yourself being pulled inside more deeply and getting in
touch with a deeper part of you! - you are feeling more alive
and can feel the sacred light in Lourdes even more strongly
than when you arrived!
7:00- 8:15pm – Dinner!
8:30pm We’ll all gather downstairs for the evening procession!
From there, we'll be heading up to Lourdes castle, with beautiful views of the town!
There is a great museum up there as well as beautiful panoramic views of the town!
and then end at Lourdes Covered Market, just around the corner
with fabulous Pyrenees specialties and fun finds!
12:00-2:30 ish Free Time! Enjoy one of the great restaurants that Lourdes
has to offer!. ..and then stroll around the village!, etc…
1:30 Head over to the Baths! We'll be going in the afternon this time,
as some of the mornings events are only available til 1:00pm
5:00- 6:15ish We'll all meet in the Rosary Basilica, where we'll be led
on a guided deep soul healing meditation...

Thursday
7:30am Breakfast gathering!

Walking in the footsteps of Bernadette!...
Understanding Lourdes is understanding Bernadette's life!
We'll be visiting her childhood home called the Boly Mill, the Lacade,
the house where her family lived after the apparitions, and where she
would occasionally stay
and the Cachot, whcih was the old prison where her family stayed
during the apparitions....
Guided Healing meditation! ...
You are right in the heart of the retreat now... ! You are feeling the impact of
this light more fully! You begin to slow down a bit and become a little more reflective..
You enter the Basilica, one of the holist places on earth,
where Karin will lead you on a guided healing meditation
while you align yourself more fully with a sacred higher power and surrender
all your inner wounds, and traumas from the past, that you wisely stuffed down
at the time to survive, but are now holding you back
from reaching your highest potential,
to this light, asking that it be taken away and replaced with sacred light…
You reclaim more of your true authentic self!...and feel the deepened connection
with your wise voice within

8:30pm We’ll all gather downstairs for the evening procession
Reveling and sizzling in the strong holy energy/shakti during the evening candlelight procession!
Friday
*7:30am Breakfast gathering!

Morning Baths!...then free time!
12:00 We're off on our beautifully scenic ride through the heart of the Pyrenees Mts,
to the world heritage site of Gavernie!
We'll see spectacular scenery along the way of our hour long drive!
It will be an incredible day in nature, walking along the river, to assimilate all the profound healing energy we've been receiving all week! You may even feel like a new
person! lighter! more free on the inside! more peaceful!, etc ... before we all
head home the next day!
We'll also be having lunch in Gavernie - there are a couple of restaurants
you can choose from or bring a picnic !
While there, you can also explore the quaint village and shops!
4:15
We'll be heading back to Lourdes!
*7:00- 8:15pm
Dinner! We’ll be assisting with connecting people to share taxis
to the train station/airport tomorrow!... enjoying our last dinner together...and basking in
our glow of our newly empowered selves!
*8:30pm We’ll all gather downstairs for our last evening procession!
Saturday
Homeward Bound!
* 7:00 Group farewell breakfast buffet!..Saying good bye to all our new friends!
*Check out and we’re off on our journeys home!…leaving transformed forever!
Though, it is hard to leave that beautiful holy energy!
The healing energy/shakti radiating from Mother Mary's statue is profound!
NOTE! We may need to rearrange the schedule a bit,
depending on the weather or if a large pilgrimage group of 1000’s
arrives and the lines are long…
we are charting a course,
but will adapt along the way if need be…
but we will get everything in!
*Most places here open at 9:00am and close at noon,
The challenging thing about Lourdes,
is that everyone in this town takes their lunch break very seriously! lol!
Just about everything closes down for 2 hours midday-the train, the castle,
the places on the "walking in the footsteps of Bernadette" trail,etc...
however all the cafe's and stores are open!
*For those of you on your 2nd and 3rd journey,
as you know, the schedule will continue to deepen and enrich
your experience of Lourdes!... But you also may have some other personal favorite
places to go by now, so feel free to skip any of the group ctivities and just follow where
you feel your heart tugging you!
*As you know, each journey/pilgrimage you attend refreshes
and renews your connection to this divine light and wise voice within,
where you can continue to feel more and more of your real true authentic Self!

* 5:00 Eucharist torchlight procession to the Underground Basilica
for Mass every evening!
* There are caves on top of the Pic Du Jer to explore,which are open
at 1:40, 2:40 and 3:40 for 3.50 euros
*International mass in English at the Basilica of St Pius,known as the underground Basilica, which can hold 25,000 peopleat 9:30am on Wednesdays

Are you on your 2nd or 3rd, etc journey?!!!
If you are on your 2nd or 3rd, etc Journey to Lourdes, or are arriving early or staying later, there are some other great places in the area to explore (on your own or with some friends) if you'd liketo see something new!...To walk around /hike and assimilate the powerful sacred light here!..
(Just check in with the tourist center and they'll help you with the logistics of renting a car, giving you the city bus or train schedule,hiring a car and driver, or going on an autobus excursion and discuss the prices as well!)
Lourdes Lake!
...is just 3 km (about a mile and a half) down the road! You can arrange for a taxi at the front desk! - it cost me about 12 euros in 2013 ..or you can catch the city bus for 2 euro each way!
(The bus schedule is at the tourist center in Lourdes!)
It was a beautiful area!...and nice just to walk around!
There is a restaurant with delicious food there called the "Embarcadero".
It is open between 12:00-2:00pm,
There are also fun paddle boats!. The regional specialty, duck, was delicious!
and there were nice views of the lake inside the restaurant!!
